FIRST  Events

Part of our mission is to make STEAM and FIRST accessible to our mid-Michigan community. One of the ways we do this is through hosting events. These events include a high school competition in the spring, a middle school competition in the fall, the elementary state championships in the winter, and other year-round scrimmages, expos, and demonstrations. 

Our team members are the first ones on site to set up the event, and the last to leave after it's all been cleaned up. For our lower-level events, many of the key volunteer roles are filled by high school students. By volunteering, our team members give back to the greater FIRST community, learn valuable leadership skills, and gain a greater appreciation for the hard work that goes into every level of this program.
